I won tickets from the radio before, like 15+ years ago

Okay, I keep thinking about starting my own blog, but for now, Goober is okay with me writing on hers. Well, my son-in-law, yb, once again won tickets to disneyland. He called me Friday morning saying he was the 20th caller and won. I think this is like his third time winning tickets to disneyland. If I am wrong, then it's his second. I told him the granddaughts will grow up thinking that all dad has to do is call the radio station so they all can go see Mickey Mouse. In regards to the title above, can I say that I actually won tickets to see Paula Abdul twice. ( two years in a row, she came to Phoenix to tour. Once I went with Hubby; second time I went with my neighbor) I remember the dj said the tickets would be great seats. I was excited. The concert was at the Sky Pavillion on the west side of Phoenix. (I believe it has been renamed.) Those "great seats" turned out to be the back grass area. First come, first served. Once the concert started, everyone in the grass area moved forward. I was on my toes the whole time and barely saw the stage. Goober wouldn't have even survived, she's only 5'2". My favorite memory was when my hubby and I were driving home. We were talking about the concert and he said, " she's really cute" and without even taking a breath, continued, " but not as cute as you!" I thought to myself, "Smart man." The end.

something i found interesting.

Well today as I was listening to pandora I found out how the group called secondhand serenade came up with their name. Because the singer/songwriter John Vesely writes all of his autobiographical songs to his wife first and foremost. making the audiance bystanders. I thought that was cool. seconhand is ok with me! I think I would be putty in someones hands if they did that for me.
